The Kabayan Mummies were featured in Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel as one of the unique mummies in the world.
The Kabayan Mummies, which were laid to rest in mostly in protected caves, have been designated as one of the 100 Most Endangered Sites in the world by Monument Watch, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of important monuments and sites.
The Kabayan Mummies Day Tour package inclusions are Baguio City-Timbac, Kabayan, Benguet roundtrip transport (we will pick you up and drop you off your hotel), guide, entrance fees/toll fee and packed lunch.
Travel time from Baguio to Kabayan is around 2.5 hours.
There will be a 15-minute photo-op stop-over at the highest point of the Philippine Highway System in Km.53 Atok, Benguet.
Estimated tour duration is 6-7 hours. Tour starts at 8:00 am.
There is a short hike to the mummy caves including going down (and up on the way back) a makeshift stone/boulder 240+ steps stair pathway.
Guests must bring hiking shoes, jacket and water. Must also be in good shape; that is, if going up one flight of stairs is hard for you, then you will probably not enjoy this tour.
Timbac, Kabayan Mummies Day Tour Package price is P2,999.00 per person for a minimum of three guests.
For a group of two people, you can still take the tour, but price is P3,400.00 per person.
